Google announced a new toy labeled Google Building Maker. With this tool we can transform 2D objects from Google Maps into 3D structures. Simcity meets Google Maps. Here is the video:
I can’t see a real usage for this other than make buildings (for business for example) more visible using the new stuff plus actual Google Maps labeling tools. No lo veo una utilidad clara pero es bueno para propagandas, ya que en conjunto con las herramientas actuales de Google Maps uno puede ponerle el nombre a un negocio y hacerlo mas visible más en el mapa. Seguramente este es el primer paso para hacer tours virtuales y otras cosas.
