Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a first person shooter. As the title suggests the game is set in the present (early titles were WWII oriented) and introduces modern weapons and technology and includes the usual AI soldiers to help us during missions.

The story running the game is about a dictator who raises a civil war in Russia. The events of the conflicts are seen from the perspectives of an American Marine and a British SAS commando.
