VideoLan lanzó VLC Player 1.0
Después de estar en su versión “sub 1″ por mucho tiempo aparece VLC Player 1.0. Este reproductor multimedia ofrece un montón de opciones y es reconocido por su sporte amplio a codecs. Además de que es gratuito.
Entre los cambios tenemos:

- New HD codecs (AES3, Dolby Digital Plus, TrueHD, Blu-ray Linear PCM, Real Video 3.0 and 4.0, …)

- Better integration in Gtk environments
